We haven't done a dinner show yet (have chose to have fancier table service meals) but have done quite a few character breakfasts. Our fave's are Cape May at Beach Blue (have an ADR there next month again!) or Chef Mickey's (which gets lots of negative reviews but we really enjoyed it!).

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but can you only use certain Disney cards at the parks or towards your reservation? I'm assuming a card to the Disney store isn't valid towards a Disneyworld vacation but are there other cards that don't work? I am planning on asking people to get DD some for her BDay right before our trip. Thanks!

Most Disney gift cards sold at like Walmart or Target work at Disney World...have them check the back and it should say Disney World (along with Disneyland, Disney Cruise, Disney Store)...
