What TS do you need to make your ADR right @ 180 day??

Hi! I've been to Disney many times (10-12 times) and believe it or not have never made an ADR. We go to the less popular TS. This year we are taking extended family and I know they are going to want to go to some of the more popular places (O'hana's, CRT maybe some World Showcase places.) Does anyone know which restaurants you must book at the 180 day mark? and is there a time when those reservations open up?. 8am? 9 am? TIA the whole ADR world is completely foreign to me!!

Yes, you'll want to make reservations for the more popular places at 180 days if possible. CRT, 'Ohana, Le Cellier, etc.

However, with the new cancellation policies in effect, it seems some of the more popular places have spots open long after the 180 day mark. So you may find it's not an issue at all. Good luck!!

ETA--We made reservations for 'Ohana for June at our 180 day mark and got what we wanted (6 pm). But I just checked and they still have a 5:15 and 7 pm available. Not bad!

There really is nothing I have to do that badly that I need to book at 180 days . I go every year at about the same time July/Early August. I will make my ADR's about 45 to 60 days in advance and then make final changes about 14 days before I leave. Chances are I will cancel at least one or two meals and reschedule something else I want on the day of. With changes though, now I am going to have to prepare about 24 hours ahead of time. I have never not got what I wanted...of course I don't do buffets or character dining of any type and I am never on a DDP so I have no worry of not getting something I need to make my perceived value of hte DDP work.
