years ago when we bought our 1st coach we joined Good Sam. As part of our membership we have had access to their Trip Planning function. For the most part we have been happy with the results ie routeing, recommended campgrounds, fuel stops rest stop locations etc. . As of April GS will no longer offer this service. So I am wondering what if any other resource do peoples here use

I do it the old fashioned way, once destination is determined, I work backwards using a combination of Google maps, KOA.com and just a standard google campgrounds nearby. I actually enjoy the plan, i find some pretty neat places this way.

Guess I will be bumming, since I use GS trip planning. Hmm, have to look and see if I can export those I have saved. Looks like I will have to print them out for now. Well at least I got a heads up.

Well. I am a little old school, a little new school (Oregon Trail Generation here)
SO, I printed my AAA Triptix also sent the link to the Google Map to our phones.
I also have an Atlas in the car tucked in the seat :)
I had multiple stops on it, but decided to just see what we find along the way instead.

Same for me. I'm type A enough that, even if I used a planner of some sort, I'd be double-checking all of the details to make sure it was what I want anyway. So, I just map it out the way I want it. Decide where I'm going and use Google maps and satellite imagery from there. I, too, enjoy the planning - it helps pass the time while awaiting the actual endeavors.
