I banquet/conference center that I work for will be host to a memorial service for a local doctors wife who has past away. We always write on a dry erase board the name of the event being hosted in each of the rooms we have so that folks know they have found the right room.

My question is what should I write on the board for a memorial service. I thought about, "Celebrating the life of" and then writing her name.
What do you think. This service will be held this Friday. I am the only one who will be working at the facility on Friday so that is why I am asking my fellow Diser's for help

TIA

I think that would be fine. You definitely wouldn't want the memorial interrupted because of something weirdly phrased.

I would ask the family what they want written. This is a very sensitive subject. Some might be offended by the use of "Celebrating".

If you won't be able to talk to them before then I would probably go with something more neutral and write "Family and Friends of Jane Doe" or "Doe Family and Friends"

I agree ask the family

Why not just Jane Doe Memorial service?
