We leave in 10 days and I have no idea of what to pack as far as clothes are concerned.

This is our first trip in November/December and I'm not sure if long pants and short sleeve shirts with a sweater or sweatshirt is the right idea. Will jeans be ok for the parks????

I've been to Disney many times but only in the summer when it's really hot and I just don't know what to expect.

Please help.

When we've gone in Dec/Jan we mostly wear long pants. We try to dress for the day so we wear layers & bring a sweatshirt along... but there have been times that we dressed a bit light and end up adding a new Mickey Sweatshirt to our collection!

The days are mostly beautiful, but it cools off at night. :sunny:

From what I have read on this board try the following: Very short Shorts with words printed on them, a bikini top or just a bra, and for shoes try 4 or 5 inch heels. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :teeth: :rotfl2:

Sorry about this post :bitelip:

I would recommend layers that you can add or remove based on the temp. It really varies this time of year - but is usually nice. Jeans are fine, what I usually wear. Don't forget comfy shoes - not those 4-5 inch heels

I'm leaving Wednesday, I'm not packed, still doing laundry, stil trying to clean the house, thank goodness I am not working tomorrow.

And I am trying to figure out what to pack too :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Layers.

We've see in the 80's and in the 40's.

Even if it is warm during the day, pack a sweatshirt for evening. The temp can drop considerable.

PS. Don't trust the Weather Channel. :flower:

Here's a link to the Accuweather 15 Day Forecast that I find helpful. It's not perfect, but a decent guide....

I'm planning on taking tees and shorts, as well as 2 pair of jeans, 1 sweatshirt/fleece, and a jacket. My *plan* is to buy a couple new long sleeve shirts while there anyway - shhhh - don't tell DH! We'll be taking it easy this trip and going back to the resort in the afternoon. In the evenings, I'll dress for possible chilly temps.

We also leave Friday and I do work all week and have been trying to excavate around here (the church youth are camping out on our farm the day after Thanksgiving which is the day after we return and the house looks like the Titanic after it sunk). Also packing for both cool and warm. Can't even enjoy the fact that we're going for worrrying about packing and trying to clean (just quit my second part-time job but doesn't help me now!).

We leave next Friday morning. We have been this time of the year several times now and I agree with the other posters, it can be in the 80's or in the 40's. One year we didn't take sweat shirts and needed those, gloves and hats. One year we wore shorts the entire time with cooling off sessions in the pool. I usually have us pack jeans and shorts, short sleeve shirts and 1 sweat shirt.

Have fun for those of you who will be there before us.

I am taking mostly shorts for the days.... and jeans for the nights. The days should be plenty warm enough for short sleeves and shorts.

WE leave in less than 3 weeks I am taking those cargo pants that you can unzipp and viola shorts for the kids. I will bring a few pairs of jeans and some light weight cargo pants that I bought at Target for $12 for myself. DH always wears jeans. He will bring 2 pairs of shorts. I purchased (for me)about 6 disney T-shirts for about 5-8 dollars a piece from Target, Kohls, Jc pennies, and kmart(on super clearance). I will wear them over long sleeve Ts from old navy if it is chilly. I am bringing 2 Zippup sweatshirts and anoracks each for me and kids. DH will use a sweat shirt and anorack.

I hope I remember the under wear on sock  Every one is Wearing one pair of tennis shoes and brining FLip Flops for the possability of the pool.

I need to start packing

AHHH! We leave Wednesday also (TOMORROW!) and I have not packed - and I AM at work today!!!! I have packed the kids stuff - but haven't started my stuff. I think it is because I am afraid of not fitting in my summer shorts  - so I have to try them on before packing - God help me! :rotfl:

All I know is that I am looking out my office window it looks like rain and it is 52 degrees outside here in Pa. I just opened accuweather checked the Orlando weather and it said 83 degrees tomorrow. It will warm the heart just thinking about it!!! not to mention less than 3 weeks to go!!~!

One thing that should be packed - those stretchy $1 gloves! They run about $8 in the park, but you can usually find them at Target or the dollar store. Totally worth it at night when the wind starts to pick up. They take up no room and can be carried about and not take up space like bulky gloves. Just the right warmth needed.

My flight leaves tommorrow at 6:15pm. I'm about half way packed. Still doing some laundry. I have to make one more iron T-shirt. I have to clean out my truck since my mechanic will be picking it up while I am gone to do some work....oh and I almost forgot I have to add extra seats so when they pick us up from the airtport on Sunday we will all fit. All that to do and here I am on the computer. :confused3

Tomorrow I have to work until 4pm...I know, I know I am cutting it close to get to the airport. I am trying to get my secretary to push up some of my appointments so I can be out of the office by 3:30pm and zip onto the airport. I will breath a sigh of relieve when I sit my butt on the airplane.

I hope it's not crowded. I want to have the park to myself :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What are stretchy $1 gloves? We are leaving in 23 days.
They are small, knitted gloves that one size fits most. I personally don't like them because my hands don't fit in them. But they're great for the kids.

I do agree, bring some light gloves and hats. :Pinkbounc :bounce:
