What to wear to Cali Grill

We leave for our trip in less than 4 weeks and I'm already obsessing about what to pack. I want to pack light and will probably wear 1 pair of flip flops there and pack a pair. I planned on packing a bunch of tank tops and light weight t's. and a few pairs of shorts and maybe a couple of skorts. My Dh and I have 1 date night planned. We are putting the kiddies in the Neverland Club and we're going to the Cali Grill. Would it be appropriate for me to wear a casual skort and t shirt with flip flops or should I plan on packing a dressier outfit?

Here's what me and DBF wore. (lol--- we're cheesy and took pictures waiting for the bus) there were def. people in shorts.. and in attire that was probably not "approved" by the restaurant... but if its your date night out and you wanna wear something nicer like a sun dress or something, go for it

ps: i'm not weird chested, my dress just puckered out like that haha

I would go a little dressier than what you described. Cali Grill is, in my opinion, the second nicest restaurant on Disney property (after V & A) and I think it deserves something other than shorts, skorts, and a t-shirt. However, that said, you will probably see all kinds of dress. We saw more people dressed up than down, tho.

Thanks for the replies. I have a couple of dressier outfits in mind I just don't want to overpack!!! It's the shoes that put me over the edge. I can never narrow down what shoes to bring and dressier outfits lead to dressier shoes and the cycle goes on!

You COULD wear flip flops. But should you?

My take is this: if you're not going to dress up for a nice dinner out during an expensive vacation, then what would you dress up for???

I say pack one simple, dressy outfit, and some cute sandals. You won't be sorry, and you certainly won't be overdressed.
