What to wear on 7-day Eastern Dec. 14

Need help, we're first time cruisers, going on the Dec. 14th Eastern and are unsure of what type of clothing is best. DW is especially concerned for her and DD's 11 and 17. What do you wear daily on the boat, on the islands and on non-formal nights. We're doing WDW CR 21st-28th so we have to bring extra clothes anyway that we'll leave in the car. Any seasoned cruiser's advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Welcome to the Dec. 14 cruise!! There are a bunch of us here on the Board that will be on that cruise as well. We are doing USO/WDW Dec. 9-13 before the cruise so we have to pack for some Park days as well..and I am going to try to pack light!! We did WDW and the four day cruise two years ago and had very nice weather, but we still needed a combination of shorts, T-Shirts, long pants and sweatshirts for WDW as it did cool off at night. On the cruise I found that early in the mornings and later at night we needed sweats which were nice and comfy warm. During the day on the ship we basically stayed in our bathing suits and cover ups. If we went to see a show/inside activity during the day, we would just put on some shorts and a T-Shirt. On our casual nights we still dressed in sundresses..but we like to dress up a bit for dinner even on the casual nights. You'll have a great time and hope to see you on the cruise!! We are travelling with my mom, my DD 9 and myself.
