So all day we will be wearing our walking shoes and characters t's and jean shorts..... but at night (like dinner and after) are we going to want to dress up even slightly for City Walk or will people be in their park clothes? both?

Also, between City Walk and Hotels, what places are recommended for Sunday-Thursday night life in about a week? Looking not for dancing, etc. but at least a busy bar scene... if possible.

Should be plan on getting the City Walk wrist band? What are the details with this?

You will see all kinds of attire at City Walk, at least during dinner hour and the hours following. I don't think I've been at City Walk much after 11pm, and we've never been to the dance club there. I'm not sure if they have a dress code. I've always felt comfortable in whatever I have on, including my park clothes.

We really enjoy Pat O'Brien's for the dueling pianos. There is a cover charge after a certain time. I've had mixed experiences there though, as far as it being busy or not. We've been there when its been packed and when its been dead. Definitely more fun when its busy and the crowd is into it, but the trick is not get there too late so that you can still get a table.

There is quite a mix of people at City Walk. We ate at the Mexican place and NBC Grill, both in our regular park gear, and didn't feel out of place for a single second.

I've never seen anyone 'dressed up' at Citywalk, day or night, not even on the weekends. Im afraid I cant say much for the Citywalk nightlife.

Only place I have seen peeps dressed up is at the dance club

All other places it’s just park clothes

Like the other posters before me have said, most everyone at the shops and restaurants will be in park clothes.

After 10pm you’ll notice more adults headed to a club or late dinner and some may be more dressed up. If you want to refresh and put on something a little dressier you wouldn’t feel out of place doing that either.

Sneakers are acceptable anywhere in City Walk, but The Groove. I've been denied many times while tipsy trying to get in. They won't even make an exception if you want buy a bottle/VIP service.

Red Coconut may give you a hassle too after 10PM when it turns more club-ish.

City Walk is a mix of attire. Only places I would dress for are The Palm or Bice at the premium resorts.
