What to see at AK

We've never been to Animal Kingdom. What are your favourites? I've heard it's not worth it to go in the summer b/c it's too hot and you don't see any animals. is this True?

The Tree of Life, It's Tough to Be a Bug, Kilmanjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids, Dinosaur, Majara Jungle Trek and there's more. I think AK is a must do, yet I've never been in the summer so maybe it's a different experience then.

We always go in July or August, and Animal Kingdom is my favorate park.

There's Festival of the Lion King, Dinosaur,Kilimanjaro Safaris ( see early in the morning), It's tough to be a bug, Kali Rapids,Tarzon Rocks, and Primeval Whorl.

Festival of the Lion King is worth the price of admission. Even if you see nothing else, its worth the trip for this show. Its absolutely fantastic.

I agree with all the previous posters.

The animals (some nocturnal) do not like the intense sunlight/heat. So they either sleep or stay in cool places or caves. Best time to view the animals is first thing in the morning, last thing in afternoon or when it rains......

I also LOVE AK. Add to what's been previously mentioned "Flights of Wonder" and the Panjani Forest Exploration Trail. Hopefully the Meerkats will be out-they're so cute to watch! And if you have an animal lover in your family, go to an animal training show of "Pocahontas".
