What to say to Crush?

My son was wearing a Dory shirt at the TTWC show. It had a BIG Dory on the front, and said "I cant remember where i got this Tshirt". Crush asked my son if he had a question for crush. my son sat there and said "Yeah! Did.... Uhhhhh Wait! Can you... OH! I forgot what i was going to ask!" Crush said "DUDE! You REALLY ARE a Dory fan arent you?"

OMG! OMG! Last week Crush was talking about items from the human world that they have found and he came out with a bikini top

Too funny!! When we were there Crush came out with the bikini top and asked my DS what it was and he said it was a 'bow'. Crush asked if it would be okay if he wore it to hang out with his buddies and my DS said 'sure'. Poor kid--everyone was :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: and he was dumbfounded as to why the 'bow' was so funny.

I love this show too! All these experiences are so cute!!

I just wish they had different seating because we find if you are towards the back its really hard to see everything going on. Anyone else find this to be true? And we aren't even short people!

My hubby asked Crush "Do Turtles taste like chicken?" Crush replied, "What does chicken taste like? Does it taste like seaweed? Because all I eat is seaweed, sometimes it gives me bubbles" Then bubbles start to come out of the back of his shell, then he said "Oh, excuse me" Then he hid behind his fins and blushed. Crush had the whole place rollin! Made my DD's day!

and we had "rehersed" a question with DD3 for Crush,,,,,,,,so when she was chosen, Crush asker her name and she said(very clearly) How much do u weigh?..........well Crush said...thats such a cool name Dudette!!!, LOL

She did get to chat with Crush a bit and we all loved the whole(short)show. :thumbsup2 Much much better than Stitch, I agree!

I finally got to see Crush back in Mid August. The funniest line of the evening was one boy asked Crush if Turtles farted?

Crush replied very seriously "No dude!" as bubbles came trailing behind him...Very funny!

We saw Crush right after the attraction opened. IIRC, CMs at Sea Base Alpha were trying to direct people into the theater so as to draw a crowd. We went in not really knowing what to expect. WOW! We wound up having one of the most magical moments ever.

Crush swims up to DD (then 7), asks here name and starts talking to her, singing a little song making a rhyme with her name. She blushed and thought it was the coolest thing. Crush asked for questions, and DS (there celebrating his 5th bday) raised his hand. Crush didn't get to him (which is OK by us cuz we know our kids can't get picked for everything). Anyhow, show ends and unbeknownst to us DS has been sniffling and teary-eyed ever since Crush ignored him. The theater empties and we are all walking out explaining that Crush is a busy turtle... yada yada yada. All of a sudden a CM catches us from behind at the door and says Crush wants to see us.

The look on DS' face was precious. He dashes up to the aquarium. Crush says some silly self-deprecating stuff and then asks DS what his question was. DS asked him Crush if he liked to sleep on his back or his tummy. Crush answered and then invited DS to come up the the "aquarium" and "give him some fin". OMG! It was as if DS was the most special little boy in the world. That memory has meant so much to me over the last couple of years.

We left Living Seas and marched straight over to Guest Relations. I filled out a compliment card for all the CMs working Crush attraction that day. IT truly made our vacation.

I'm not kidding when I say that made me tear up. THIS is why I love Disney.

I am with BlondeHeroine! I completely teared up hearing that story! I LOVE DISNEY for this reason, and many many similar ones. :)

I love Crush. I had no idea how wonderfully fun it would be, and then hubby and I returned multiple times over the next two days--as often as we could pull ourselves away from other attractions. In the hot summer months, it is a great way to beat the heat and burn calories with incredible belly laughs! Our last trip to DLR/DCA, I got strep throat near the end, and we spent nearly our entire last day between Animation Academy and Crush. What a great way to relax AND have a blast!

I have never seen Crush, and cannot wait to se what it's like. Are there pictures anywhere? I am trying imagine what it's like, but I just can't seem to grasp it!

Oh I just know we are going to love this .. Will start thinking of some Crush ????I hope the kids get picked I know they will love it.

I can't wait to bring my sons there for the first time next trip. I heard it was really funny, and someone told me there's a new ride in that area.

I don't think there are any pix out there on this one. It's been a while since we have done TTWC, but I'm pretty sure its a "no picture allowed" attraction. IIRC, that's why I didn't whip out the camera and get pic of DS with Crush when they had their little private meet-n-greet. (details in my previous post)

So, how does this work exactly? Is he a bit awalking turtle, or a cartoon that you talk to...?

At the last show a young kid asked Crush if he was a girl or a boy...his reaction was hilarious. He just stood there for a few minutes and stared at him, it was so funny. Finally he answered, "totally a dude, dude".

When we were there in May, we found it fascinating to watch. Our children were enthralled, but not at all interested in asking Crush a question. There was a little boy by us (probably 4 or 5) and every question Crush asked to anyone (never to him) the little boy would answer. It got a little annoying after a little while, but then Crush brought out the bikini top and asked what it was. This little boy started yelling "****ies, ****ies" over and over. Crushes mouth dropped open and he said "what" and the boy kept yelling (while his older sister (8 or 9) was trying to tackle him to cover his mouth). Crush asked the boy if his mother was there and he said yes. Then Crush said "Dude, you are in so much trouble." It was hilarious.
