What have been some of the questions the kids ask Crush?

When we were there in Feb, the best I heard came from an adult. A kid asked, what do you eat? Crush answered, then asked what do you like to eat? An adult answered, "turtle soup". The look on Crush's face was hilarious! Then he called for security!

Anyone else has some fun stories about talking with Crush?

Last December, my DD 10 was picked to ask Crush a question. She asked him how many squares he has on his back? He turned around and said "Do you see any squares?" She shook her head no and his reply was "Then I have none little dude". The interaction was very funny and my DD was a bit embarrassed.

DH and I visited with Crush on our Anniversary trip this past January, and we thought that Crush was hysterical. I can't remember any of the specific questions, but can't wait to take my DD (6) there in December!! DH tells everyone he knows that is going to WDW to see Crush!!!

My DS7 got chosen for a question on his August trip with his grandparents. He asked what turtles eat, and then Crush asked him what humans eat. DS said "noodles", which is funny as he is definately a steak eater :rotfl: . He got a little embarrased but hopes he gets picked again when we go in 2 weeks :sunny:

When we went and saw Crush at Disneyland, one of the little guys down in front asked "Where is Dory?" and before you knew it, Dory swam up to the underwater mike and started chatting with everyone! It was really cute and we never miss talking to Crush! no question is too silly so go for it! HAVE FUN! :thumbsup2 Yo Ho! pirate: pirate: helen

OMG! OMG! Last week Crush was talking about items from the human world that they have found and he came out with a bikini top and asked what it was and a kid yells that its a bra. Crush was like, "what did you say dude? a bra" and they kids just kept going and one goes "yeah its for a mom" and another yells "it covers her ****s". He brought his fin to his head and shook his head and quickly moved on! It was GREAT!!!

I can't remember specifics now, but we have gone twice and it was AWESOME, DUDE!! :teeth:

As much as I like the big rides, including the new Exp. Everest, THIS is the stuff I love about Disney. I don't know how they do it, I probably don't want to know since it might spoil it, but I think this is one of the finest attractions that WDW has come up with in a while. It's certainly better than the Stitch ride, and I'm sure it costs a whole lot less!! :rotfl: :goodvibes

On our last trip in February, we saw Turtle Talk. One boy was called on to ask a question (he was probably about 3 or 4) and simply said "skateboard." Crush said, "Is that your question little dude?" It was hilarious!

Oh man. I just saw that show today, and it was great. Everyone was laughing. :rotfl: I think the funniest question came from an adult. He asked what turtle eat. Crush was talking about sea grass and kelp, and started with Fish are friends- not food, then everyone finished the statement for him. Crush then asked the guy what he ate, and he said fish and chips (he was Brittish)! The look on Crush's face was priceless! :lmao: I say it is a must see.

DS was picked twice to talk to Crush--once at Epcot, once at California Adventure. The first time DS asked what Crush likes to eat; Crush then asked DS what he likes to eat and DS said "hot dogs". Crush said they gave him "bubbles", had a few, and got everyone laughing. At CA the two had a really long conversation (I have no idea about what) and Crush came back to DS with the bikini thing later in the show. It took about 4 rounds of questions from Crush before DS said they were for a woman. Really cute!

I saw tbis show for the first time last month - what a great show! :thumbsup2 The funniest parts I remember is when one child asked why Crush was green. He explained that the coloring comes from what he eats, and then asked the child what she eats. She answered, "Cereal", and then Crush asked if she was cereal colored. :rotfl: Then, someone's cell phone rang during the show. Crush asked if that was one of the "shell phones" he had heard about and then said, "You should answer it and tell them you have to call back because you're talking to a turtle. They'll never believe you, dude!" :lmao:

Thanks everyone! Great stories! I have to admit, we almost didn't go because the line was sooooooooo long (is it still so long?) but I'm glad we did. My DD was chosen to talk too, although she didn't say much.

Anyone else have any Crush stories?

Shortly after it first opened, DS and I went to see it. DS was probably 12ish and asked Crush something about mating (I don't remember the exact question) (forgot to add, we live on a farm so these things interest DS :rolleyes1 ), Crush skirted around the issue at hand and talked about how turtles lay their eggs in the sand and how if the sand is warm, the babies will all be girls. If the sand is cold, the babies will all be boys, and "that's why chicks are hawt and dudes are cooooool!" :rotfl:

We saw Crush right after the attraction opened. IIRC, CMs at Sea Base Alpha were trying to direct people into the theater so as to draw a crowd. We went in not really knowing what to expect. WOW! We wound up having one of the most magical moments ever.

Crush swims up to DD (then 7), asks here name and starts talking to her, singing a little song making a rhyme with her name. She blushed and thought it was the coolest thing. Crush asked for questions, and DS (there celebrating his 5th bday) raised his hand. Crush didn't get to him (which is OK by us cuz we know our kids can't get picked for everything). Anyhow, show ends and unbeknownst to us DS has been sniffling and teary-eyed ever since Crush ignored him. The theater empties and we are all walking out explaining that Crush is a busy turtle... yada yada yada. All of a sudden a CM catches us from behind at the door and says Crush wants to see us.

The look on DS' face was precious. He dashes up to the aquarium. Crush says some silly self-deprecating stuff and then asks DS what his question was. DS asked him Crush if he liked to sleep on his back or his tummy. Crush answered and then invited DS to come up the the "aquarium" and "give him some fin". OMG! It was as if DS was the most special little boy in the world. That memory has meant so much to me over the last couple of years.

We left Living Seas and marched straight over to Guest Relations. I filled out a compliment card for all the CMs working Crush attraction that day. IT truly made our vacation.

When we went over a year ago, Crush asked what the bikini top was for and a little boy blurted out, "it is for my mom's breasts" OMG, did I laugh!! I just did not expect that!!!

My daughter was called on for a question and asked Crush if sharks eat turtles! His reaction was really funny!

my son asked Crush "why do you lay your eggs in the sand?"

Crush replies with a mortified look on his face..."Ummm dude, thats not my job! Us dudes leave that job for the dudettes!!!"

That was an awesome reply, everyone roared!!!!

We were just there Sept 2. The first little boy to ask a question asked Crush why he didn't have any boo bies. Crush's jaw dropped and just floated stunned for a moment and then rolled over and ran his fin across his chest and said, nope don't have any of those but I have rocking abs. Then the next little boy started to talk, and just kept talking. All the while Crush starts doing the backstroke across the screen. He looks at the boy and says I'm still listening. Finally after several minutes of talking and asking no question Crush says you have a great imagination little dude. This was the first time I have seen this and it was great. I can't wait for my kids to see it in June.

Not a question to Crush but on he asked:

He was talking to a boy who was from Austrilia when he asked the boy his name.

The boy in his sweetest Aussie accent said Piess (sort of like Piss)

Crush asked the boy a few times what his name was & got that puzzled look each time when the boy said his name. You could tell Crush was thinking this boys name is not Piss as were the rest of us in the packed theater.

So Crush asked where his mother was & in her sweetest Aussie accent the mother said "Piess". Again that puzzled look & then the mother said like "Piess Bronson".

The whole room pretty much sighed & Crush said "Oh Pearce (aka Pierce)" & stressed out the sounds of the letters.

OK I guess you had to be there but it was hilarious.
