We'll be arriving at OKW on Saturday, August 3rd (non-DVC), but I get the best information from all you experts and your posts 
I check this board out 10 times a day! No wonder I'm not getting anything done around here! So - I've decided that I will just "let the chips fall where they may" and just be surprised at the area we are assigned to. It seems everyone has their own opinion - some say ask for water view, others say woods and others golf - some say ask for something near the quiet pools, others say go near the Hospitality House. But everyone does seem to agree on one thing - it's a magical place no matter where you are! So the only thing I am convinced I definitely want is a separate entrance to the bathroom (I read something about this a while back but I can't find the post anymore). Do I just state it like that in my request "..............would like a 1-bedroom unit with a separate entrance to the bathroom" (obviously stated more politely than that), and they will know exactly what I am talking about?
