What to request for BLT LV 1 BR

I have a reservation for 3 nights in a 1BR LV villa coming up and was wondering how to word a request in hopes of getting one that also has some chance or seeing some of the MK. Would like for DGSs to be able to see it lit up a night from a different perspective. Will probably take them to the viewing area at the top of the resort but would like for them to be able to see the castle from the room. There were no MK views available so just hoping for a little pixie dust. Is there some key ways to put in the request to better the chances of this happening (I know requests are just that and usually don't ask for more than upper floor and or near pool) ? Are rooms ending in certain numbers such as 02-14 more likely to be at the end of the building that would do this? Any suggestions will be greatluy appreciated.

I have a similar question...we booked a 1 bedroom standard view BLT but it seems that a lot of the rooms are on the 1st floor...I'm not real excited about that (almost feel as if someone could walk right into your open slider on your porch). Do you think I could request 2nd floor and above or just wait till we get there and if they say it's in the 7100's I say do you have anything up higher?

hey ask for the fifth floor - the north wing standard views actually go to the 5the floor.

north wing even number room as high as possible - generally get the 5th floor

be carefully - if you are offered a odd number room - ask them to try again.

the odd number numbers are around the swimming pool

Is it best to request something like this online when you do online checkin? (i'd like to give it a shot in Sept, but have never really requested a specific room location)

for our 1BR LV at BLT last summer.

We ended up with a fantastic view which was just as much MK view as it was LV. So you may just get lucky!

We are staying in a SV room this summer, 2 bedroom at BLT, and simply put in the request of "not first floor". While I would love to get one of the evened numbered rooms as well (have stayed in those a few times), I simply don't want to be first floor if I can help it and am hoping that since that is my only request, I might get lucky.

I wonder if others have not been allowed to request even numbered room as of late? I added my room request (a LV, 1 Bedrm) about 6 weeks ago for our June trip and was able to request an even numbered room. I wonder if a lot of people are requesting this? Since they are only room requests and not guarantees I guess leaving it completely to Pixie Dust is fine as well.

I just requested an even numbered view last week for our 1bedroom lake view in August.

Did you also ask for a certain floor? Maybe that is why I was not allowed to? Maybe I should try again. I have to call to add the dining plan anyway.

I called today and got a great CM. Asked for an even number room, which she had to put in the notes as there's no "button" for that. I also asked about a higher room and she did a little research and came back to say that the 5th floor is the highest, so she also put that on my reservation. Hopefully I'll get at least the even room. I need a change of scenery. After doing 2 trips and getting the shuffle board view, along with my neighbor in his boxer shorts, I would welcome the parking lot.
