What to read on plane?

Have you read Jodi Picoult's 'The Pact'? I was so upset by it, a very good book.

I really enjoyed that too Jodie, although I agree it was pretty upsetting in places.

i would definitley recomend any of the Jodi Picolut books or Cecila Ahern, i havent read the pact yet but i am looking forward to it now... i will keep the tissues handy tho, as always when reading her books!

Hiya

I would try Sharon Osbourne book. If you like autobiography books you will love this one. Sharon is her typical self and just reading the book you find out how tough her life has been. Its really good.

I have a hard back copy so I would of sent it to you, but because of the weight it would probably be cheaper to buy the book from Tesco for £3.99.

Have a great time.

Heres another vote for Sophie Kinsella, Cecila Aherne and Jill Mansell BUT my all time favourite chic author is Patricia Scanlan.....she has a triology called
City Girls, City Lives and City Woman....I read them all on a 2 week holiday as I could not put them down!!! :) ...and as they follow on from each other I had every excuse to tell DH I just had to finish them!!

You could always get a Doctor who book. It took me around a week to read 3 of them ~ should be good for a plane. :teeth:

I would suggest "Flying without Fear" by Captain Keith Godfrey - a very intersting read at 36,000 feet. ;)

We spend a fortune on books and mags and flick through the mags but never really read anything  End up reading them before we go to bed at night.

We do intend to get some books again for this years holiday.

Some more fantastic suggestions, thankyou, hope everyone gets something from this list as well :thumbsup2

I'd just like to add that Susan Lewis & Penny Vincenzi are 2 of my favs, I can never put their books down.

I will try and buy one of these suggestions as they look really good.

Claire have a great trip and let us know how much you read on the plane.
