Helloo,

We are going in Feb, and I was just wondering what clothes I should bring? I am so confused about the climate, some people say it's quite warm, some people say they need thermals. I do live in England, so any sunshine will be a bonus. :thumbsup2
Should I be buying the summer clothes now, or should I be taking winter clothes. Yesterday in the UK, temps reached 27 and that was shorts and vest weather for us. I do know that I will need a cardigan because it can be chilly in the mornings and evenings and in the air conditionded places

I am so confused. Please help.

Thank You

I think it depends what kind of weather you're used to. The last time I went to Disney in February I'd left a few feet of snow and 20F degree weather behind (from Buffalo, NY). I wore light weight jeans or capris most of the time, and short sleeved shirts. Keep in mind that it does take a bit for the sun to warm everything up, so in the mornings it can be quite cool and damp. I'd usually start out the morning with a sweatshirt on and by 2 hours later my tshirt was fine. My best advice to you is to layer. A Tshirt and lightweight sweater and light jacket, something like that, then you can adjust as neccessary. Also remember that some of the restaurants and rides can be very cold inside, and you may need a sweater just for that. Since people are coming from all over, you'll see all sorts of layers of warmth. People will probably have heavy coats on if they're used to really warm weather, some will have pants and long sleeved shirts, and some will be in shorts. Just check the weather and you should be fine.

I would say it won't be much below 15 or much above 25. It's a drier month as well but that doesn't mean it won't rain, so be prepared with light rain coats, ponchos or an umbrella.

This is a complex question I have been to Disney in Feb every other year in Feb starting in '05 and the weather has been up in the 80 - 90's all the way in 07 down to 35. I would pack shorts and I would bring pants and sweat shirts. In 2007 they had to bring out gloves and hats it was that cold. My suggestion is to wait until 10 days before and check the weather on weather.com.

February is a tricky month weather wise. We generally go in Jan. Feb or March (because I do not do Disney in the summer) and we have had very different temp extremes. We have gone when it was in the 80's and this past Feb (6th-13th) it was chilly most days, highs in the 40's lows in the 30's (some days were a bit warmer in the 50's). The coldest temp while we were there this past Feb. was 28 degress with the wind chill at 8 am. I couldn't believe it! We drove so I made sure that I packed for both kinds of weather including gloves.

We have also been able to use the water parks at least 1 day on previous winter trips (usually at least 1 day around 80 degrees) but, on this past trip we did not do the water parks at all. In fact Typhoon Lagoon was closed 2 days due to the cold. My DD13 refused to go in the pool this time even though it was heated and DS8 went in twice for about 30 min each time. The pool water was warm but, when he got out he was FREEZING and couldn't wait to get back to the room and hop into a warm shower.

two years ago we went and we had one cool day. am's started off with a sweatshirt and endedwith same but swam in the daytime (we are from canada and were leaving snow) this past year it was cold it was not warm enough to swim but it was great for the parks....we wore shorts a couple days but mostly 3 quarter pants. got good use out of sweatshirts.

I'll second this. We've been going down in Feb since 2002 (I think...) every year. We've had as high as the 80s, low as the 30s. HUGE difference! Watch the weather before you leave, pack accordingly. And layer, layer, layer!
