What to know about the Cont. Resort?

Have a standard garden room reserved...should I ask for North or South...which is closest to the pool? Do they give upgrades? How is the pool? I am so excited...the family does not know! What parks have early mornings on Tues and Wed? Thanks

I can't answer your questions about th CR but I can say that EMH
for Tuesday is MGM and Wednesday is EPCOT

The North Wing is closest to the MK and Food Fun Center, the South to the pool and marina. Both are so close that the distances b/e them are negligble. I wouldn't worry about which wing you get. If you booked a standard view, you'll probably get a view of the parking lot, which is not bad if it's in the North Wing: you'll see Space Mountain and the monorail.

I'm going in June and staying in a garden water wing, hopefully overlooking Bay Lake. Those rooms look peaceful

Have stayed in the north wing three times. Couldn't ask for an upgrade, because we were staying via Shades of Green and their rooms were only in the wings.

The south wing is closer to the pool, but the north wing in just a short walk. The north wing is closer to the food court, the bus stop and the walkway to the Magic Kingdom.

We have stayed in a parking lot view, 3rd floor. You get a great view of the MK and the monorail!

Stayed waterview, 3rd floor. Can watch Electric Water Parade from your room.

Stayed waterview, 1st floor. My favorite. Very quiet. Have a patio that you can sit on and watch the water and boaters.

Rooms are a great size! Lots of drawer space.

We've stayed in the South wing and it was very nice. We also stayed in the Tower and enjoyed that. The south wing was a more quiet experience though.
