What to get my niece and nephew?

I have a boy so I am at a loss as to what to get my niece for xmas. Usually I just ask my sister but this year has been very hard for them and I don't want to make her feel bad. I know my niece and nephew are only getting a few presents from Santa because of finances. I want to spend more than normal on the kids so they have more to open. I'm thinking about 50 bucks per kid and I want to get them 2 presents each. My neice is 3.5 and loves princesses and dressing up. My nephew is 4.5 and is currently in love with hockey. So far I bought my nephew a mickey cartoon dvd. My nephew is getting hockey equipment from my parents and my niece is getting dress up clothes. Any ideas?

Target is having the Disney Princess Musical Vanity for $49.99 (regular $99.99) on Black Friday. My DD is 2 1/2 and I REALLY hope to be able to get that for her! Walmart is having Princess, Fairies, or Barbie trunk of dress-up clothes for $19 too. I have no idea for boys though! Keep watching Amazon too. They have some great sales at this time of year!
