What to get for grandma & grandpa? Help?

We are taking a family trip to WDW in October with my inlaws . I wanted to surprise my inlaws maybe a gift basket or some small items in their room when they arrive. We get there October 3rd - they fly in the next day. They are staying at the same resort as us and coming just to watch their only grandkids in the park . They are very, very generous people and have given us alot - emotionally, financially, and with their time. I wanted to surprise them with some small things in their room when they get there and wanted it to be grandparent "themed" if possible. Anyone have some ideas that would be good for grandma & grandpa and do you think mousekeeping/hotel would put into there room on check in day? or what would be best method for presentation with surprising them?

We bought coffee mugs in the gift shop at ASMo, but we saw them at every gift shop we went in to. They are Disney themed of course with all the characters on the front and the handle has Grandma or Grandpa on each one. They are pretty good sized mugs for 10 bucks each. They really liked them a lot.

First, I would suggest adding your name to their ressie. Than you can check them. Depending on your plan for their arrival day (since there is no telling when the room will be ready) you could buy something but also maybe deocrate. A big poster from the kids that say thank you with pictures they draw around it, etc.

How about making your own t-shirts for them - transfer a photo of the grandkids onto with saying something like "ME and the Grandkids, loving Walt Disney World"

I think a 4X6 Disney photo album would be a nice gift. I bought 2 different ones in May and our pictures look so nice in them. They have a really pretty Happiest Celebration one. Here are some other suggestions...

Mickey shaped pretzels or they even have Mickey Trail Mix.

I love the coffee mug idea if they like coffee. I also saw cute Mickey shaped sugar cubes when we were at WDW in May.

Thanks for the ideas and please keep them coming. It's so hard to get things for people who really have everything. Also want this trip to be special for them because the only reason they are coming at all is the kids...I know just being there will be special in itself but wanted to add some magic to it too.

We got my DM/DD a poster at the shop in the United Kingdom section of WS. It had their family name and crest and the history of their name. They will frame it for you if you want. My parents LOVED this. I'll bet if you called, it could be taken care of before you arrive. And they have ANY name. You will need to know the country that your family name is from, so they can get the right one. Some names are the same, but from different countries and would have totally different histories.
edited to add... in Sep. 2003 the posters were $25.00. but we had it framed at home.

How about buying a cute Disney picture frame and a photo express gift card (or buy a family picture one day in the park to fit the frame)? All grandparents love picutres of their beautiful families!
