I am getting married at Sea Breeze Point on Oct. 2, 2007 and I am not sure what's an appropriate gift to get our wedding planner. Does anyone have any ideas or what some of you have given to yours in the past. I'd appreciate any help I can get on this. Also, is it customary to get the florist something as well?:confused3

No we didn't give anything for the florist because we never got to see her during our wedding week but we did get gifts for our planner and manager. We gave them a bottle of wine and an amex gift card.

That's a nice gift. Another stupid question with that...who's the manager? I'm sorry, I've gotten really confused over all the different people we work with. I'm only working with a planner, her assistant, the florist, and I worked with a coordinator before all this (before the contract was signed). I appreciate your help!

Here are some guidelines for you. Do not give cash or probably gift cards. In some areas of Disney tipping is not allowed, and instead they have to give that to Disney's non-profit Disney Hand. I would do a physical gift. I went to Crate and Barrel and found some really nice pieces that were not overly expensive. I gave gifts to my SM, and his assistant because she helped me beyond belief, Laura my florist, and Jennifer her helper, and my WP and her helper. I think that it is very important to show your appreciation. It is a rough job and sometimes that Thank you is so important.

I gave my EM bottles of wine from local winerys in my area in a pretty hat box I also found a wine cooler that was insulates thing- it fit 1 bt of wine had 2 plastic wine glasses, 2 napkins a wine opener and a wine topper. It was Eddie Bauer and it was cute. I thought it was interesting and then I printed out info on our wine trail here in Southern Illinois-

If it's a girl why not pop into Basin at Downtown Disney and get her some sort of relaxing body stuff? We load up on goodies whenever we're there and then give them out to everyone for birthdays, holidays, etc and they always go nuts. I'm not sure what to suggest for a guy.
