We are going in Sept, with two DD's (one is 11 and the other will be just shy of 2). Last year, we stopped at Publix for snacks, baby food, applesauce, etc. DD1 usually had a jar of baby food or applesauce, then had a bit of our table food to supplement. She hasn't eaten baby food at home in a few months. We will all probably share with her, but she has a pretty decent appetite. What can I get from the supermarket to supplement her meals? She has eaten the gerber graduate type stuff in the past, but I don't know if she'll take it again after not having it for a while. How much is a small side of mac & cheese or pasta at the food court?

We went last year when my daughter was 2, and she also has a good appetite. Once of the good benefits of the age was that she ate for free at some restaurants. If I remember correctly, any of the dinners or breakfasts that were all you can eat she was free. If it is a restaurant that has individual entree prices, I am not sure how that works. Also, all of the restaurants we went to had good kids choices which included mac n cheese. Maybe you can get a goody bag from you meal with food to be eaten another night????

On a side note, if your child is on medication, the disney resorts will put a fridge in your room for free. Our daughter was on antibiotics for an ear infection, but the fridge also worked out well to keep food cold.

They have Kraft Mac & Cheese individuals that you could heat the water in the microwave. Or individual fruits and applesauces. DD ate what we did at 2, so we just shared with her.

My DD(28months) will still eat Gerber Graduates Shells & Cheese and the GG Ravioli too.

At the buffets she would be free. Otherwise I would just order her a meal off the Children's menu. That usually what we do, and of course her older brother's will finish anything she has left.

Here is a site listing most restaurants and prices....

What we always do with my little one is: I always get her a plate and each of us gives her a little bit off of our plates before we start eating. She always has a wide variety but would never eat a whole dinner on her own. And, as previously stated she does eat free at all of the sit down restaurants.

Correct me if I'm wrong,

but under 3 can eat free at the buffets, but not at all sit down restaurants.

On our first trip with the kids to Disney, the oldest 2 were 3 and 2 (youngest DD was 'in cargo' at the time! :p ). Whenever we ate at a restaurant, we would each ask for an additional plate for the kids. :D We were never refused and we just shared our meals with the kids! :bounce:

The children under three can eat at the buffets and the family style all you can eat restaurants for free. The other ones you pay for. At the buffets they have a kids section (adults can eat off of it also) but it's short like the kiddies and it has things like pizza and chicken fingers, mac and cheese stuff like that.

I have two girls under three and I found that a kids meal (at the food courts) is large enough for both of them to share. The only time I got each one was at CBR it came in a bucket so they both got one to have a bucket. Heck..I usually ordered the kids meal because it was plenty and cheaper than the adults.

My DD will be 21 months when we go in Oct. I know she'll eat off our plates but I plan on doing a grocery stop with the limo and getting:
Baby Yogart
small canned veggies with a pull top lid
Sliced cheese
Canned peaches
Goldfish packages
maybe a few lunchables for the older kids.

I'm sure there are more I just can't think of now.
