What to expect??

OK, I am by no means a stranger to WDW, but we will be there from Dec. 3-9 and I have NEVER been there during the holiday season. What can I expect to see? I'm very excited, as is my family. Any words of wisdom out there?

We will be there the same time. We went last year and it was beautiful.

If you enjoy 70 degree temps during the day with Christmas decorations and music in all the parks...you will be happy.

It is truely a magical time at WDW. Did you purchase tix for MVMCP or are you seeing a CP?

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! My sister and I are going next week, leaving the DH's at home. Our first trip to WDW with the Christmas decorations up, we hit all the resorts and checked out all the different decorations they had.
Hands down, Grand Floridian was the most beautiful. It's like a sensory overload of Christmas! DH's can't go because they're just not into the decorations as we are, the oohhh and ahhhh factor, that is. World Showcase has the different 'Santa' traditions which is alot of fun to watch.
Be sure and check out the Dolphin, they had a beautiful tree and decorations.

My family went on 2003. We're also going in December 2005.

Days mostly 60's and 70's. But, remember it is winter even if you're in Florida. Pack some hats, gloves, and warm clothes. My dd & I didn't stay as long as the rest of my family. The day after we left the temps went down to 48. My sister complained that it got cold. They live in NY.

Oh, everytime I read these boards I just keep getting more and more excited about our first ever trip to WDW. (Well, sometimes I get really really anxious because it seems I haven't planned well enough!) This time Debbie's comment about the Dolphin's decorations really put a smile on my face since we'll be staying there.
