What to Expect?

We will be staying in a Boulder Ridge 1 bedroom villa for 3 nights next month. We booked through WDW directly. This is the first time we have stayed at a DVC property and we are wondering if they come in at all to tidy up/clean daily. If not, do they come and take the trash out? Will they clean if requested? I know typically DVC gets less frequent Mouskeeping services, but I wasn't sure if it was the same if booking through Disney directly.

Any tips on WL/BR in general? We go to Disney frequently but have never stayed at this resort!

If you rented through Disney, you get the same service as hotel guests at WDW. Be aware, however, that currently, apparently due to an extreme labor shortage, Disney is no longer providing daily cleaning service to any of its hotel guests or to those who rent DVC rooms directly from Disney. Instead, service is provided only every second day and even that is "limited" service, see https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/housekeeping-service/. In other words, no one is getting daily cleaning service at WDW.

To be fair, neither is anyone else. Hilton dropped theirs company-wide, though apparently one can request it.

They will come in daily to take out the trash and see if you are hiding any sex workers under the bed or in the closet. You can call for clean towels or more supplies in the room.
