Hello. We are planning our second honeymoon of the year (getting married in April 06) for Disney December27-January 2.

Can anyone tell me what we should expect at this time. Lines, availability for the hotels, are the decorations still up, is there a MVMCP after the holiday, etc.

Should we plan a different time?

Thanks

Hi,

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I hate to be a party pooper, but:

The crowds will be absolutely huge! If you are thinking of going, I suggest you book a room ASAP.

MVMCP no longer runs after Christmas. In 2005, the last show was the 20th.

One positive answer for you: the decorations will still be up.

Enjoy,

Bob

Sorry to also be a party pooper, but that is one, if not the, busiest week in WDW. My boss and his family went last year and said it was so crazy busy it really compromised their good time. That being said, if you go prepared, I am sure you can have a great time!! Start reading now about strategies and as the above poster noted, book your hotel ASAP. Have fun and congrats!!

Big, crowds! Packed! There is no easy way to say it. If there is anyway you can go at the beginning of December, I would try that. You get the same Christmas lights, and everything else without the crowds. On a scale of 1-10, its 10's all week for crowd level. :sad2:
