What to expect March 1st thru 8th?

Can anyone tell me what kind of weather and how crowded I should expect it to be March 1st thru the 8th? We are staying at AKV

I'm curious myself as I am going March 6-9th. I've been to WDW many times, but never in early March.

Hi: Bring layers of clothes. We did a larger family trip about 3 years ago for the first week of March. You definitely needed a jacket most days- high 40's and low 50's. The day we left the temp was in the 60's. Hope the weather cooperates for you!

We went March 1-8th a few years ago and we still talk about that trip. It was the nicest in regards to weather...warm and comfortable with only a sprinkle of rain one day. (We didn't need any jackets.) I guess it's still early enough in the year that the weather could be just about anything but we were very fortunate--hope you are too. The crowds were probably some of the best we've ever experienced and we've been there January, May, June, and September. I think it's great as long as you beat the spring breakers which you will. We would love to go at that time again but it just doesn't work with our family's schedule. Have a wonderful trip!!

We use to go years ago around that time and it was warm 75/79. you would start of with a sweatshirt and by afternoon it was shorts weather.
we are planning a trip the second week of march and im not to worry, it cant be as bad as dec. 2004/jan. 2005 rainy & cold 40s, then by jan. 4, 2005 it hit the 80s for a week. you can really tell, just keep up on the 10 day forcast before you go.

Our trip is the second week of march also. Since Easter is mid april we're hoping the crowds won't be too horrendous to manage. Weather shouldn't be a problem. Last year's halloween trip was washed out every single day so if we got through that we should be able to get through anything. The only exception would be high 90's. We hate the heat. Has it ever been that hot in early march at WDW?

I hope the weather is great, its also the WDW Princess Half Marathon Weekend March 6-8 so that will generate a few more people. We had way too much rain at WDW in August with two tropical storms so this trip in March should be perfect

We will be there that week as well.... I stopped asking about the weather along time ago as anything seems to go in FL from Nov through March. I just check the forecasts a few days before we leave and pack accordingly.

I do always bring a hat and gloves, just in case, the evening get cold. Two years running they were a lifesaver for me in December.
