What to expect in the mail?

I have a room only reservation and have UT tickets linked to MDE. Will I receive Mickey Mail? Just magic bands? Or will I get anything else? We have only ever stayed offsite and don't know what to expect. We do not have a package booked, just the resort. Thanks.

to be honest im not sure anyone knows right now.. even as an annual passholder ive been getting a ton of stuff for that as well as stuff for a trip i have planned in may its mostly just my magic plus stuff though. telling you to sign up for mde and that kinda thing. oh and if you signed up for magical express youll get your tags for that along with your magic bands

It used to be you didn't get anything until about a month out from arrival date when you'd get a booklet summarizing your reservation, activities on site, luggage tags, DME info, PhotoPass card, and any perks that may be included in your reservation.

Then that evolved to getting a letter a few months in advance to psych you up.

Then now, for our upcoming trip, I'd booked about 10 months in advance and about a month after booking, I got the psych you up. Another month after that, I got a box in the mail with a booklet summarizing my reservation, magnet that told me when I can book FP+, and a USB drive of a vid pumping up MDE. Basically, marketing materials for not a whole lot of use.

I'm less than 30 days and have received nothing at all! Probably different for Canadians (I know we don't get our MBs in the mail) but I haven't any of the other promo stuff that others are reporting.

Last trip I got my "mickey mail" at 37 days out.

We booked about two months ago for July and shortly after received the sendmail with the exception we were given a website address to go to as opposed to the drive

Have you gone on to MDE and customized your Magic Bands yet? If not, it's my experience that you can customize them until 30 days prior to your check-in date. As long as you are in the U.S., they will ship pretty quickly after the last customization date and arrive on your doorstep in plenty of time for your departure. (I believe non-U.S. residents' MBs will ship to the resort and be available upon your arrival/check-in.)

We had a room-only reservation for our March trip - I think we booked it in November? Anyway, we received a little booklet to get us pumped-up for our upcoming trip. We also received a Mickey thumb drive, which had a video to watch. Ummm - we also became AP holders, so we got mail for that, too. Then we received the MBs. I think that's about it! Oh, but be sure to check your email - they do send out a few emails ahead of time, too. Mostly they're reminders that you can schedule your FP+ and ADRs, etc. Sorry about the rambling - I was sort of thinking out loud.

I think I just realized why I'm not getting anything. Yes, we did customize our magic bands. But we booked our room through cheaptickets not directly through Disney. So, I imagine we won't actually get anything? No prob, as I don't need any help getting psyched up! And I know when I can reserve FP+ so I guess I'm good.
