We are going to be at Disneyland for the Epilepsy Awareness Day on November 6th. If you knew that it might be the last time you get to eat food for awhile and you were going to be at DLand what could you not leave without eating?

I would go to the Plaza Inn for fried chicken and have a Mickey ice cream bar for dessert. My runner up: Café Orleans for monte cristos and pomme frittes.

I think Plaza Inn would be nice! I like the decor and how they have their desserts displayed. The location is nice too. Love the Fried Chicken!

Monte cristo from Blue Bayou

Dole whip

Soup bowl at the wharf

Any character dining experience

Beignets from Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express in Downtown Disney!:cloud9:

The things that I found really lived up to the hype were:

--Plaza Inn fried chicken dinner
--Dole Whip float
--Boysen Apple Freeze drink (Maurice's Treats)
--Matterhorn Macaroon

I also really liked the cheddar garlic bagel twist at Maurice's and the caramel and chocolate dipped marshmallow wands at the candy shops.

Big Thunder Ranch BBQ. Eat until you burst!

I really want to try these begneits at Downtown Disney. I keep hearing about them. Hopefully they're as good as the ones I had at WDW, which were excellent.

I always eat the Begneits at WDW and they are delicious but truly the begneits from Ralph Brennen's Jazz Kitchen express are amazing!

My favorite meal is the pan seared salmon with scalloped potatoes at Blue Bayou. Runner up is the shrimp louie salad (bread and dressing on the side) at Pacific Wharf Cafe at DCA.

Corn dog from the Little Red Wagon; Fried Green Tomato Sandwich from the Hungry Bear

We love the soup bowls at the wharf. It is a must have at least once during our trips!

Churro, Dole Whip and Bengal Barbecue chicken. Not sure why you ask about a 'last meal' but sending best wishes your way.:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks everyone, it looks like I'm going to go with the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn. I've never eaten there and have always wanted too. I have Eosinophilic Esophagitis. I am literally allergic to everything but applesauce and Rice Milk. The applesauce and rice milk help me with taking my meds. However I drink elemental formula for nutrition. I'm at the point where my esophagus really isn't working anymore and so I may be getting a feeding tube and be put on formula 100%. I will know more 2 days before we go to Disneyland. I know what will happen when I eat the fried chicken (joint pain, choking and other TMI) but I want to be able to enjoy myself while at Disneyland and food is such a key thing in our lives. Keep up the suggestions. Looking forward to a great day at Disneyland.
