I run into a problem at Disney this past Christmas. I wil not say what it was but koodo to Disney for caring enough and for trying to make it right...

Anyway. Disney gave me back one nights accomodation at the deluxe resort we stayed at plus 4, 3 day hopper tickets that do not expire for 20 years!

My son is done and never wants to go back....We have decided to stick with cruising both Disney and Carnival. We both love this so much more.....

We are taking the Disney Dream in March 2011. Money back from the resort covered the deposit!!!! Now what to do with these tickets?

Why not hold on to them for a few yrs? You have 20 years to change your mind.
Are the tickets in your names specifically?

No names attached...2 different parties involved

haha one word comes to mind: ebay. lol i agree hold on to them for a few years...too bad you had a bad experience, but like you said good for them to try and fix it. what about donating them to make a wish? or a charity for a prize for a raffle/auction etc?

Personally, if I didn't NEED the money from them, I'd give them away. Maybe through a charity like Make a Wish, or donate them to a silent auction for a cause you love!

OR if there's someone in your own life you know, who could use a treat, gift them to them! Maybe someone who's lost a loved one this year, or has gone through a tough time with illness....someone who lost their home to fire, etc...

Finally, if you REALLY don't want them, I'd be more than happy to accept a gift from you! :worship:  :littleangel: :rolleyes1: I could use a treat!;)

:rotfl2:

I would hold onto them for a while.....is your son 'done' with it because of what happened???? If that's the case he might change his mind in a few years.

Agreed. Charleyann, I don't remember how old your son is, but he and you might change your mind. The tickets won't go bad. I have AP vouchers in my safety deposit box that I bought through the old Disney Club years ago. I bought four, and, over the years have used two. When I retire . . .

If you are absolutely sure that you won't change your mind, you could:

  • [*]sell them
[*]raffle them off for charity through your school/Church/work etc.
    [*]give them to family members
[*]give them to a reputable charity like Make a wish
