We are due to fly Dec 1st and are staying on I Drive for 11 days and then Animal Kingdom Lodge for 3 :cool1: . We have 14 day tickets for Disney, tickets for Gatorland, Busch Gardens and Kennedy. Its got to the point now when we are so excited we can't think clearly on what to do first, middle or last. Anyone suffer from similar exeriences and, if so

WHAT DO YOU DO?! :thumbsup2 :dance3: :dance3:

hi martin

we also fly out on 1st dec we are not big planners and at that time of year the weather can be hit and miss. If we are lucky and have a hot day it will be a water park, looking at the park times on the 2nd magic kingdom is open late and they are filming the christmas parade so as we are not entirely sure how many disney days we have left I think we will not go then, we are hoping that the parks will be farely quiet. This year we are going to busch gardens which is a first for us. We are flying with tcd hope that the flight is not delayed

Chill and relax? ;)

Everyone is different about how much or how little they plan ahead, we tend to organise our flights/car hire/accomodation/tickets etc and then just look forward to the holiday.

I would have a rough idea what we planned on doing the first 2 or 3 days, and then just take it day by day when we get out there - you don't have to plan each day and with the weather you have to change and adapt as you go anyway.

we fly out on the 16th dec and we are going the flow seeing what the weather is like, the only thing that we are following on a certain day is sea world as dh is swimming with sharks.
good luck

Message for Stubb. Are you by chance flying at 1100hrs Friday Dec 1st with TCD from Gatwick? Busch Gardens is a first for us as well and we are looking forward to it.
thanks everyone for the tips. I think we'll just take each day as it comes and hope for good weather. :thumbsup2

If you are packing a lot into two weeks, it may be worth planning a 'loose' itinery.. I have always done this in the past... because like most people we've always tried to pack too much into too shorter time.
Its worth jotting down a list of 'must see's' so you don't miss out on anything! As you are staying 'on site' for your last three days, it would make more sense to do keep your last days as Disney days (obviously!).. it could be a chance to go back to the attractions you really enjoy!
We always try to book something extra 'nice' for the last day/night.
Enjoy your planning.. but don' t get too worked up with it!

We have always planned an itinerary for each trip. I must admit we don't stick as rigidly to them as we did on the first couple of trips but we find it helps to give us a rough idea of where we are and makes sure we fit in everything we want to do. We just swap odd days when we get out there to fit with the weather and/or how tired we may be feeling :)
