We are sailing January 3rd on the "Magic" for the seven day western caribbean cruise. We are arriving late in the evening January 1st and leaving January 11th. That gives us a full day prior to the cruise and a full day after we get off the "Magic". Can anyone give me any ideas on what to do for two non-consecutive days? Our group consists of an almost three year old and a ten year old.

Well if it were me, I would spend the day before the cruise at one of the parks, pick your favourite or if you have never gone then go to Magic Kingdom, especially with the kids.
The day after the cruise is a little harder. You might want to play that one by ear. Sometimes you come off a cruise very tired. Some suggestions might be Space Center, beach - if you are not all beached out already, Gatorland, Old Town, Sea World or one of the Disney or Universal Parks if you feel up to it.

If you are going to Disney World after your cruise- you might want to try a few things in Orlando. Some suggestions might be Busch Gardens in Tampa (it is not a long drive), spending the day at Daytona or Coco Beach, The Kennedy Space Center, Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet-n- Wild, Gatorland or shopping- at the outlet factories or Downtown Disney. There are alot of options- for me I would make the choice something that I won't be doing on the cruise and go that route.::MinnieMo

We are also staying for 2 days after our cruise in May. Our plans for Saturday include staying at the HIFS, arriving Saturday morning, checking in, having lunch, spending the afternoon by the pool. Then we are having dinner at O'hanas at the Polynesian and will watch the MK fireworks from the beach (hopefully). If we feel up to it afterwards, we'll head to Downtown Disney.
