We'll be going with DS this August. We're going to use an umbrella stroller, but... What do we do with it while we're on rides? Is there a spot they'll let you put it? Do they watch it somewhat so someone doesn't just take it?

yes, all rides have designated stroller area's you just park it and usually park attendants will move them around to make room...so just be aware that it most likely wont be in the exact spot you left it in...so dont freak out :)

Cool! Good to know. Thank you :)

Just to clarify....

There are designated areas OUTSIDE of the entrance to the line itself (in most all cases) where you leave your stroller and you must then carry or have the child walk through the line to the ride itself. So it isn't like you're about to board and you just leave your stroller right there.

While there are usually CM's working the area around the stroller parking area - they don't 'watch' your strollers - they are just in charge of making sure the strollers are arranged in a way to fit all the necessary strollers. There can be 20, 40, 60 strollers in one area - so obviously, they don't know whose is whose and in theory - someone could take the wrong one intentionally or unintentionally. This USUALLY doesn't happen - but I just want to make sure you know so that you don't leave any valuables in it.

Okay.

Yeah, I've got a Baggallini that we'll keep anything in. It'd just be the stroller that we'd leave.

The stroller parking areas are usually no where near the entrance of the ride. Like in Fantasy land the parking lot is all the way over past Small World almost near the Haunted Mansion. Should you park your stroller in front of Pooh, it will be "towed" all the way to that parking lot!:rotfl: Yes, I'm speaking from experience!!:lmao:

In DHS, the stroller parking lots are usually around the corner of the attraction near the exits. Makes it convenient when your leaving.

It's hard to figure out in the begining, but after a day or two, you'll know all the parking lots!

just to add to the question...what about the TS restuarants? Is there a place for strollers there too?

That's the only place you will find stroller parking right outside the restaurant. Might be slightly off to the side, but more than likely right at the restaurant.
