Share your recipes that use candy bars.
I'll start.

Frozen Heaven
9 ice cream sandwiches
1 carton Cool Whip
3 Heath Bars
5 Reese's peanut butter cups
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Cover the bottom of a 13x9" glass dish with ice cream sandwiches, cutting to make them fit snugly. Chop candy bars into small pieces. Add 2/3 or so of the candy bars to the Cool Whip. Reserve the rest to sprinkle on top. Spread Cool Whip over sandwiches. Sprinkle remaining candy bars and walnuts on top. Drizzle with as much or as little chocolate syrup as you like. Put the dish in the freezer and allow it to freeze. Cut into square to serve.

That sounds soooooo yummy!

I don't have a recipe to share, but we often save some Halloween candy to make decorations for gingerbread houses for Christmas.

Our Weight Watchers leader is sending it to the soldiers in Afganistan. She's collecting it all week. Gotta get it out of the houses of WW members!

The Blue Star Moms usually collect and send it to troops too.

I'm taking mine down to Disney World with me on Thursday so my CM daughter can share with her friends. I need it out of the house.

I thought for sure someone would have a recipe that used candy bars. :confused3
I saw Paula Deen make brownies and bake two of those huge Hershey bars inside. Talk about chocolate overload.

Big bowl on my desk at work...it will be gone in a week.

Snickers Salad

6 SNICKERS® candy bars, chopped in sm. squares
6 Granny Smith green apples, chopped in sm. pieces
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

You can send it to the people who don't have children and missed out on the opportunity to return home with a bagful of yummy goodness. Like me :goodvibes

Well, if I lived closer I would.;) I used to live in East Aurora, which isn't too far from Buffalo.

any leftover candy goes to work with me - my co workers will swoop down on the candy bowl like vultures over a carcass...

especially chocolate.

DH and I bring most of it to work and share it with everyone. Other than that, I save some of the hard candy and use it to decorate gingerbread houses for Christmas---it's great for that. You don't usually get a huge variety of candy in those kits you buy at the store, so this is a great way to mix it up.

I've never seen recipes for leftover candy...which is why I had to open your thread and see what people came up with. Hadn't even thought about it before. :confused3

left over halloween candy?

left over halloween candy?

left over halloween candy?

....... nope...........I have no idea what this means !!!:goodvibes

The only left-over candy is generally the junky stuff. I guess you can give that out to homeless people (or old people - they like Bit O Honey and Mary Jane candies, right?).

Apparently my kids have blown through their stash because I went to raid it today and there wasn't much good stuff left. All that awful sour candy crap. I saw a full size Snickers in there yesterday and let's face it...kids just don't appreciate a full size Snickers bar like their mom with a sinus infection and raging PMS would but it was gone.

Another one who takes the leftovers to work. My co-workers make sure stuff like that disappears pretty quickly!
