what to do with extra points?

What do you do when you have points that you will lose? I have 8 points. Can they be transferred to some one else?

if they are not banked or borrowed, they can be transferred to someone else, yes.

Is it too late to bank them?If so I'd do a transfer to someone who could use them.

I would try to rent them out. See the rent and trade board here or if you know someone who could use them. Just remember you can only do one transfer a year to or from your account.

I think you have to allow up to 24hrs for the post to be approved. Mine have usually been sooner than that, though.

Yes. They have some rules for renting. You may have to buy a membership if your posts are not enough over the last 6 months. I think they used to require 50 posts.

if your alternative is zero, it's not terrible. some people would give away a small number of pts just to be helpful. if you are patient and the pts are in immediate danger of expiration, i'm sure you can hold out for at least $50 or $60. but it's up to you.

Can the points be transferred? You cannot transfer banked points. I imagine you'd get about $100 for 8 points.
