What to do with DD2 while older brother rides 7DMT?

I think we have decided to do breakfast at BOG at 8:00, and from recent reports, it looks like it will give us a jump on 7DMT at rope drop. DD2 is not tall enough to ride, however, so I'm trying to decide what DH or I should do with her while the others are on the mine train. Here's what I'm thinking of doing, but any other suggestions are welcome!
  • Meet Ariel--We were originally planning to do this while DS5 rides Barnstormer. Could we save any significant time by doing this first thing instead of second or third? We will be heading to PP right after, so I'd like to be done with whatever we do with DD by the time DS is off the mine train. Would that be possible if we Meet Ariel while DS is on mine train?
  • Winnie the Pooh--We were originally planning to skip this since DS5 has no interest in WtP & DD2 doesn't even know who they are. Do you think a 2 year old who has never seen anything WtP would enjoy this?
  • Carousel--I know DD2 will want to ride this, but it doesn't seem the best use of time to do it first thing. I'm mainly considering it because it's so close to PP, which is where we will be heading next

my two year old LOVED the under the sea ride. We could have ridden it 50 times and they'd go again. And its very close to 7DMT, and usually little wait. So that's what I would do! I would skip the characters without the big siblings, because she may be freaked out, and it would likely help her to see her siblings interact first.

I think that Winnie the Pooh is great for a two year old, even if they don't know the characters. At both 2 and 3 this was one of my son's favorites. It is also the closest ride to the 7DMT entrance.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of Under the Sea since we are planning to ride it later when DS can ride it as well. I'm sure DD would love to ride it twice, though. The Little Mermaid is one of her favorites!

Thanks for the tip on having an older sibling meet the character first. One reason we are meeting Ariel first is because I want to see how she does before we meet Rapunzel with a fastpass later in the day. If she freaks out meeting Ariel, I'll know to switch the fastpass to something else. Sadly, DS is very anti-princess, which is why we were planning to meet Ariel while he is riding something else. I may be able to talk him into going with us, though, if it is to help out his little sister. :)

Thanks! Good to know it's good for her age. Being close to mine train is a plus as well.

honestly I would do the carousel. Will the older sibling want to do any of the other rides you suggested? Would you be willing to go on them again with the older sibling? I know my oldest would want to do those rides. The carousel would be the least likely my oldest would want to go on and if he did want to ride it there is hardly ever a wait to ride it again with the older sibling.

DS does not want to ride Pooh or meet Ariel. He actually wouldn't mind riding the carousel, though. We have a carousel at our local mall that we can ride on a regular basis though, so I'm sure DS wouldn't mind if he missed out on it. DS will probably want to ride mine train twice since we will be able to do rider swap, so we may be able to do a couple of these ideas. We might do Pooh or Little Mermaid the first ride and the carousel the second time.
