So everyone has their pre-'82 pennies all shined up, their list of machine locations printed out and their penny books purchased, but really...

WHAT do you do with all those pennies?

We have no large collection here by any means, perhaps 20 at the most, but they're just lying out on display, soon to be closed in a drawer or jewlrey box... or worse... bent :guilty:

Any good ideas on what to do with these?
A penny for your thoughts :teeth:

i only have a few of these but i do know that disney sells books that hold the pennies or you can find books on ebay also that will hold pressed pennies and quarters if this interests you

You could purchase a shadowbox from Michaels/AC Moore to display them. They make various adhesives that would hold without damaging the penny.

Just a thought...about a pennies worth :rotfl: .

If you have a coffee table that has glass on top of it, you could put the pennies under the glass. Kind of showcase them a little.

My son drills a small hole in them and will wear one on a necklace -- he then has the rest on a leather string that way they won't get lost and he can flip through them easily.

My daughter and son like to put them in the little books that Disney sells. Here are her pennies from last week:

And it folds up to this:

I put ours in our scrapbook from the corresponding trip. We have a list of all the machines and write down which images are available at each machine, then check them off as we get them so we don't get duplicates

Here is what we did with some of ours. Took a deep frame, added a double mat and used the glue spots that you would use in scrapbooking to attach the pennies (and one quarter) to the mat. For the picture, we just used a digital photo we took on our trip and had it printed at Wallgreens, used their online submission site to get it there.

We plan on taking some good pictures of all the park icons on out next trip, and doing some park themed mats.

Great idea!

I super-glued those really little, super strong magnets to the back of them and keep them on my fridge.

I love these ideas!!!
The boy who wears his as a necklace (I might do that for DS) got me to Thinking mini Christmas tree ornaments or windchime... not sure if it would "tinkle" loud enough though. :goodvibes

Use mine as ball markers when playing golf; remind me to have fun at golf
