Hi everyone,
This may be a silly question to you who are old hands at cruising. But, there are soooo many questions for a newbie.

We (Dad, Mom, dd18, dd16, dd13, ds10, dd6, ds3) are booked on the Dec 5-9 cruise. I've seen some interesting shore excursions involving snorkeling. The minimum age is 5 or 6 for most of them. That would include everyone but the little guy. Can he stay in the kid's club during the excursion? If not, is there somewhere else he can stay?

Thanks
Tammi

There is a new excursion in Nassau called "Blackbeard's Cay." It is a stingray interaction and beach day kinda thing. It is open to kids 3 and up. I am thinking of this for my 3y/o DD. I would love to hear from someone who has been there already. Have fun!

We were on the Wonder in May and hadn't even thought of registering my DD4 for the kids club - we were all enjoying each others company and it was our first cruise. Day 2 we woke up in Nassau and my daughter boldy announces that "I'm NOT going over there - I don't want to!" Well, as a mom of a little one - you KNOW what kind of day that would have been:rolleyes:

I called downstairs to see where to register her (see I didn't have the advantage of these boards before we cruised) and I immediately took her up there to the kids club. She was in Heaven. They gave us the beeper and off we were.;) It was pretty amazing - I'm a single mom and cruised with my parents - when we walked off the ship I just looked back and thought "I just left my baby on a huge boat with a bunch of strangers while I'm in the Bahamas!"

We returned to the ship about 4 hours later to find my DD4 having a ball! She had tea with Alice and Wonderland, a puppet show with Nemo and a bazillion other things. Didn't even notice I was gone.::yes::

So...I'd say check out the clubs and show the kiddies around...then head over to Nassau for whatever you want to do - trust me chances are great that you won't be missed at bit:wave2:

Yes, you can leave kiddo in club while you are on an excursion. Be aware that your beeper will not work off the ship (that is the official line...)

I did Blackbeards in August. DD was 7 which is lots older than 3 yrs, but I highly recommend it. Its like a mini-Castaway Cay. There is a nice luncheon cookout, a beach that the 3 year old can splash in, and the older kids can have fun swimming with the stingrays. There are floats to rent, boats to rent, and loads of fun for all ages. It beats - by far - anything else I've found to do on Nassau, and I've been there six times already.
