How do you transition from stroller to no stroller, and I am not talking about dealing with the kid but all the stuff in the stroller basket? I really want to rent a stroller for this reason but hubby says ds 5 is old enough to walk. It has been so convienent in the past to have a place for drinks, clothes, snacks umbrella all that good stuff. The last thing I want is a backpack haning on me in the heat. Even if we got a locker for most of stuff what about our snacks and drings, where do we put them when going on ride? Do I just stop carrying this stuff and we stop and snack and drink frequently? What to do? I don't want my kids to be 16 and me still pushing a stroller though just so I can lug my stuff around

She NEVER uses a stroller at home.....
and have him tote around all the stuff you'll need
We rented a stroller and never looked back. She didn't ride in it most of the time, just when we wanted to get somewhere fast or when she was feeling worn out. Disney is a HUGE place. I read somewhere that you walk an average of 5-7 miles per day at WDW. That's a lot for a kid.
