what to do when bride keeps last name??

question's more about what to do with invitations, custom decoration, and anything "______'s wedding" related stuffs.

I have zero problem with fiancee keeping her name, heck, I like to change mine to something else LOL. anyways...

Do we just put both of our full names on invitations? (lastname) and (lastname)'s wedding/reception/etc?

any suggestions on this situation? I'm sure it's pretty common these days...

are you talking about after you are married, or for the actual wedding? for the actual wedding, you would put both of your full names. if it's for a reception later on, you would probably put mr and mrs, but since you're not doing that, how about just your first names?

we had a chinese banquet the next day (DH is 1/2 chinese) and the favors said "Michael & Crystal's Wedding Banquet" the invites didn't use our last names, either, because at the time the invites went out, we were not married yet.

using first name sounds right to me too yeh I'm just wondering what to use for actual wedding and what to put on reception invites.

how was the Chinese banquet? pretty traditional?

The banquet was more traditional than not I guess, but I didn't have a chinese dress b/c there was no time to get one made, and ready made ones just don't fit... LOL

We had the lion dance and the red cloth (don't know what it's called), and good food!
