What to do? Weight and pull vehicle

Aw come on the guy does know a thing or 2. He just gets carried away. Beleive me im not sticking up for the guy. I just wish he would join the conversation and not try to take it over every time. Oh and not know that he thinks he knows everything. Is that to much to ask. Ummm maybe. I guess it was worth a shot lol

I just wanted to update....

We spent the afternoon online looking at TT. Fun to start with. Next, the great thing was, my parents were here, and my Dad really helped steer me in the correct direction. I think everyone's advice was spot on, and we have a good start. Locally there are about 3 or 4 TT's I would like to go see. (We are about to get snowed in for the next couple of days, so, it might not be this week, but, maybe the weekend...)

I do appreciate all the advice! It is really helpful to those of us who are less experienced. :cool1:

Im happy for you. Please dont just settle for the other one. Get the one you want. I see it to much were people get a trailer but didnt get all the stuff they wanted and ended up trading it in the next year. Like oh the 20ft will do when you really wated the 27ft. Please keep us informed on what you end up doing. We love living through others new purchases lol. Please feel free to ask any questions. We will be more than happy to help.

Yes, please be patient. You will thank yourself over and over again for years to come.

I think Larry should just start a towing website and all questions from now on can be just directed to him because nobody but nobody on this website knows anything about towing. I think even bicycle rack questions should be directed there as well. You never know if a rack will make or break a gwvr.

Every thread that starts on here about twing questions ends up this way because Larry sniffs it out and comes in with his "I am God" of the towing world attitude. How about the hitch extension on that green hornet that could compromise the weight limit Larry? I see useless thread all over this.

You may direct the bike rack questions to me. The hubs and I are now experts in how to start a fire going down the interstate using a fully loaded rack. Bet even good ole Lars can't top that! ;)

I'll never forget coming off I-4 one day and a CruiseAmerica Class C passed me with a bike rack dragging. The kids 2 bikes were sparking and fish tailing. I felt sorry for them but at the same time it was funny seeing cars dodging them.

:rotfl: happened to us too! LOL! Hubs asked me to check the mirror and all I saw were 4th of July Fireworks! You shoulda seen H throwing a duck fit on the side of the interstate that even Donald couldn't match! :rotfl2:

ETA: I am also an expert in making a window out of a shower curtain and duct tape when your entire window falls out somewhere in Jacksonville. My expertise is endless. :rolleyes1

That was your window? :scared1:

Oh, we definitely will not settle. We loved our last camper, it was perfect for us when we were a family of three, I would have kept it for many years to come. However, now as a family of five, it just wouldn't work. I have to have a little space, as it ALWAYS rains when we do anything, any vacation, any camping, anything, it rains. Seriously, if you ever have a drought, just invite us to visit, it will rain.

Anyway, as predicted, we are snowed in, and may be snowed in all week unless the weather changes from the predictions. It is crazy. Yuck, after all the bruises I got while sledding in a kayak today, and on a scooter, oh, and falling holding my 1 year old, I'm over the snow. Even if it does get me out of work for a couple of days.

So, maybe camper shopping this weekend, maybe the next. At least I can search online.

3girlsfun. If you are looking for a camper, you should check with NorthgateRV in Ringgold. We bought our camper there and have been extremely satisfied with their service and how friendly they are. They will help you pick out the right camper for your tow vehicle.

RandManHall---That is one of the places we frequent. They are super nice! My parents have bought two different trailers from them, and my brother ordered his through them. They are super! We will be there soon if the ice and snow ever goes away!!!
