Tell me.............what to do.......leaving in 7 days

Do I need to tip Randy Chapman?

Stan from STVS

the Disney DJ?

what about the Bill Barchik our wedding coordinator, what are my limits on amounts ? do I give him a gift or cash

I want to prepare before I go and am having such a hard time. The people I ask who were married in NJ say don't tip the vendors who are in business for themselves.

Please anything amounts? ideas?

I've heard the same as your NJ friends - don't tip the vendors when they own the business. So you wouldn't need to tip Randy or Stan (unless they'd just done a fabulous, above-and-beyond job and you wanted to thank them). Tip the DJ. I know there are restrictions on how much the coordinators can receive in gifts, so most people just pick out a small gift for them, like a gift certificate to a restaurant or store. Other people you may need to tip: hair & makeup, limo driver, maybe floral delivery.

You definitely do not need to tip Randy or Stan as the companies are their own and therefore they have accounted for service in their charge to you.

Your EM - the alleged maximum amount is $75 but how do they know how much a gift cost you so if you want to be a bit more lavish they don't have to know. But the official ruling is $75.

I'm tipping Cosmetology, DJ (if he's good), car drivers, and Officiant.

I'm sure I've forgotten someone LOL

I used Randy and Stan for my Disney wedding. I didn't tip either of them. Being they are the owners of their own company, they keep all the money anyway. Excellent choices to use! Good luck!:smooth:

Im not sure if its too late to post this but I pre-made tipping envelopes before I left with exactly what I needed to put in them and they were as follows:

Limo Drivers - 20.00 Each
Or if you have a bus driver- 20.00
DJ- 20.00
Officiant- 50.00 But you can use your judgement on what you want to give.
Cosmotelogy-20.00 but most leave 10.00
Make up 20.00- but most leave 10.00
Dress Steaming lady-15.00
Bell Man bringing your stuff back to hotel room 10.00

Then of coarse I gave a gift to my sales manager and event manager.

Good Luck and have fun!!!
