I am really torn about what to do. We are flying in around 1:00pm on October 30th, and by the time we get our luggage and our car rental, and be allowed to check into our hotel (Vistana Resort), I think we will be really pooped!! (As we have to be up at 4:00am to catch our flight at 7:00am. I would like to go to MNSSHP but I think we will be drained, and from what I have read on these boards I don't think we want to go on Oct.31st. So I am wondering what other activities are offered on Halloween night throughout WDW? Anything at DTD? Does Epcot or MGM offer anything? Any suggestions or advice would be wonderful!!

I don't know about anything in the other parks but I know there is trick or treating in DTD on the 31st. We are planning on being there ourselves that night!!! :goodvibes

What?!?!! :scared: You mean be at WDW on Halloween night and NOT go to the MK for MNSSHP!!! What???!?!?!! You don't want to be crowded?!?! :crowded: :crowded: :crowded: :crowded:

Oh come, come. Buck up! Come join the group :grouphug: Okay, so there is no toilet papering, there is no throwing rotten eggs, no stealing little kids candy. Dang, talked myself out of it!!!! :rotfl2:

Just kidding. My friends went to Epcot, and then DTD. Said crowds were great. DTD was a little more crowded, but still had elbow room.

I give you my promise :wave2: I will be at the MK trick or treating that night, I promise to leave the toilet paper and rotten eggs at home. I also promise not to bother any kids for candy (I'll get my own :earboy2: ) Seriously though, I think I read a post one time that even the resorts do a "trick or treat thing" you might want to check it out. Whatever you do, Have a great time!!!! :goodvibes

(Okay, I'm in a weird mood tonight ;) )

DTD has Trick-or-treating, as well as costume contests, live bands, and other entertainment.

I think the Boardwalk also has some Halloween entertainment.

Fort Wilderness has a nightly campfire (for free!) where there is storytelling, and Chip & Dale are there. Afterward, there is always a movie at the open-air theater. I believe there are also Hayrides. Halloween evening there should be fun- I bet there is a "scary" movie, ghost stories around the campfire, and a spooky hayride.
