What to do on Halloween while in WDW

What to do in WDW on Halloween if your NOT going to a park? Is there any special activities that anyone knows of on that day. Do they do anything special at the hotels? TIA

The resorts usually have small things, like a costume contest, guess the number of candy corns in a jar, and Halloween themed movies out by the pools. It will vary depending on the resort. There's nothing too fancy or anything.
