We will be arriving in Orlando around 4pm on a Sunday. I am trying to figure out what we can do that first evening that wont be to taxing LOL. We are driving in so I think we are all going to want to get out and streach our legs.
So here are the things I am considering
Go to DTD try out Rainforest or Trex, window shop
Go to CityWalk get a lay of the land eat and shop maybe catch a movie
Go to DTD and but DisneyQuest tickets and spend the evening there

Other suggestions?

Also we have 4 whole days for USO/IOA so i was wondering if we should maybe get tickets to the water park Wet N Wild. Im leery of this because we have a water park here locally and go once a year with DH's work. We all enjoy it but why buy water park tickets when there is one right near home? Do you think we will have enough to do just with USO and IOA for 4 days?

I would do the citywalk and catch a movie cause I know when we go in June we won't arrive at the RPR until almost 2 pm so thats what I plan on doing for the first day.
Plus I am bius I love citywalk :lmao:

I agree with Lawrence...just take it easy at CityWalk the night you arrive and relax. Have a nice dinner and take in a movie or go to one of the clubs to get the feel of Universal.

if you have the 7 day ticket. rush right to ioa, and go on hulk.

i'd be heading to spiderman myself:thumbsup2
LOL I think we would be better off doing something a bit more laid back that first day. But will will be up and hitting the rides first thing on the Monday after we get to Orlando

Ditto--you've been in the car all day, stretch your legs at the park.

I wouldn't waste good weather on a movie save that for if it rains. Plus, you probably wouldn't want to sit any more in a movie. I know I wouldn't.:goodvibes

Or eat at the hotel and hang out at the pool. You figure the park portion of your vacation is only a small amount. You're paying the bulk for your room, so enjoy some of those amenities.

I'm in total agreement with the others.

Hit the parks !!

You'll sleep better once you move around after a long drive.

I can't imagine staying on site and not going for a couple of rides on arrival day.

We would usually hit the pool and have something to eat there or in one of the hotel restaurants, then a few beers before bed prob around 10 or 11pm , as we will have been travelling all day and the time equivelant to the UK would mean we are going to bed around 3 or 4 am.
DD has just informed me , we will be hitting the parks when we arrive :faint: was hoping for a bit of relaxation before that. But its her vacation to
