What to do on arrival day????

I will fly into the John Wayne airport about 11:36 am,I am from Oregon so no time changes to worrie about. I will take a shuttle van to PP. I know will eat lunch some place.

Okay I have to fuss up. I have not been to DL or CA since 1986. So everthing that I rember about DL has totaly changed and I have not been to CA.

I am going used to the idea of going solo, I have notice that there is alot of you DL fans going at the same time I am, 9-16 to 9-20. So if you a lost looking woman walking it could be me

being an AP holder I head into the parks when I get there...

Baring that, Have a nice lunch, go to DTD and check out all the stuff there, so your not needing to do it on the days you can go to the park. Have dinner, and then either just enjoy DTD and people watch, or check out the other DL hotels, or possibly go to a movie or hang out in one of the clubs.

We stayed at the PP 2 months ago. Since it's your first time at DLR in 20+ years, I would consider the following on your first day.

- Know the Grand California Hotel (GCH) very well to start with. You walk thru the GCH when going to DTD & also when going into DCA. Heck, we walked thru it coming & going 4 times a day.

- You'll cross the street in front of the PP to enter the GCH. Stop & enjoy the lobby of the GCH. Ask a CM how to get to DTD. Walk thru the GCH & into DTD. Eyeball the location of the GCH entrance from DTD (across from Naples restaurant i think). It's important to know this if you're walking back to PP at night after DCA closes.

- Then retrace your steps back to the lobby & ask a CM where the "secret entrance" into DCA. (I say all of this, because it's nice to get your bearings & the GCH is your walk thru from PP to virtually all destinations.)

- Walk into DCA (via the secret entrance) & pick up a FP at Griz rapids (10 steps to your right) & then stroll over to Soarin & pick up a second FP there.

- Then walk thru DCA enjoying the sights toward the front & cross the walk into DL. Walk down Main St. (you know you want to ) & pick up a FP at SM or Indy. Enjoy the rest of the day, (but at least you have FP's for the evening).

- I can't remember what rides allow single rider in DL(find out), but I know that Cal. Screamin' in DCA does & it rarely has a wait for singles.

I go right to the oark and go to fantasy land, I don't know why but whether it be DW or DL I have to do that first....can you tell I don't like change
