My 2 DDs (6 and 2) are Peter Pan obsessed. Anything to do with Pan, Hook, fairies or mermaid lagoons has them transfixedpopcorn:: . I'm hoping you all can give me ideas on things to do in and around the parks so that these two can get their "Pan fix". Obviously, we will ride the ride, but I'm wondering more about places for meet and greets, places to eat with Peter Pan theming, special souvenirs, etc.... I should mention that we are not currently planning to stay at the DLH (I know about the pool), but if we don't change our lodging plans we will at least head over there to see it!

Thanks for any help!:tink:

Gosh, I really can't think of much outside of the ride. A ride on the USS Columbia kinda has a Capt. Hook's ship feeling but nothing official. Hopefully someone here knows of something.

Hats maybe at the mad hatter shop by the teacups?

the POD features tinker bell (as well as her amazing flight during Remember... )

minnie and friends breakfast when I did it there was hook and peter pan there.

someone here help me here cant you meet tinker bell after fireworks in city hall

Is there a guarantee on Hook and Pan at Minnie's Breakfast, or is it a rotating cast of characters?

Meet Tinkerbell?!? Like...lifesize Tink?!? (or actually gigantic, blown up Tink) Wow! I don't know if my kids would love that or be completely confused!:rotfl:

In WDW the Family Magic Tour encounters Peter Pan. Does DL have a similar tour?

There is no "meet and greet" currently for Tink. The only place you see her up close is in the Parade of Dreams and then you can see her flying during RDCT fireworks.

You can see Peter Pan fight Hook during Fantasmic!

There is never a guarantee of characters at any character meal. You "may" see Hook, Peter Pan or Wendy at Minnie's or Goofy's Kitchen.

You can also see Peter Pan, Wendy, Hook and Schmee in the DEP.

I don't remember seeing Wendy in the DEP, but the rest of 'em there there and having fun. :)

Just in case you want a sneak peak to prepare the kiddies, here is a picture I took of Tink on the Parade of Dreams float.

You're right. I was typing too fast. I meant to type "Tink", but my brain typed "Wendy". While PP and Hook are fighting, Tink is circling above. . . :tinker:

I like how Tink has some meat on her bones... very fitting! :rotfl:

What about Hook's Pointe? Does that restaurant have any theming that would make it worth our time (keeping in mind that our family isn't big on seafood)?

there is no guaranteed character at any meal. however i did see hook at minnie & friends (not peter). hook would even come out while we were waiting for rope drop and taunt the crowd

the DLR equivalent of the WDW Family Magic Tour is the Discover the Magic Tour but I don't believe it offers the same elements.

not sure about hooke's pointe (will be eating there as part of the ABD Backstage magic tour) but there is the neverland pool, which while not peter pan specific, is pretty neat.

Oh my! To stumble across Hook, Pan and Wendy all at once would be like a dream come true for my kids. I don't think the tours are going to work for us, unfortunately... the two year old would not last at all. Its too bad DL doesn't have more character related experiences (rather than just meals). At WDW this last time we took a fireworks cruise.... Hook and Smee led us out to the boats, "Patch" the pirate entertained us onboard and Peter Pan and Tink (in her lantern) were on the dock to greet us when we returned. It was soooooooooooooo awesome. My kids still talk about it (in fact, it may actually be the reason they are now so very, very Peter Pan-centric). I also know that the Peter Pan characters hang out around the Pirates ride for meet and greets at WDW.

Maybe I can think up some ways to "create" experiences at DL. At WDW there is a store called Tinkerbell's Treasures (and Tink "flies" around the store). Any stores at DL specific to Peter Pan?

I also thought about having the girls wear their fairy costumes one day (Tink and Rosetta) and talking the CMs in the Princess area to doing some sort of "fairy makeover" for them.

Maybe at least there will be more fairy stuff in the parks for our trip in Nov. due to Tink's movie coming out.
