What to do if it rains

We are going to Disney and staying at AKL in February. We are so excited! We are going from Sunday the 12th till friday the 17th. We are going to the parks three days. What happens if it rains. i am thinking about extending our trip till saturday just in case so we have an extra day incase it rains any of the days. Do yo still go to the parks if it rain or what other options are there.

Dont let rain stop you. Just pull up the boot straps, throw on that poncho and go full force.

Bring ponchos and go anyway!

Also, if you are going in February be prepared for all kinds of weather. You could have days in the 80s with cool nights or you could have mornings near freezing and afternoons in the 40s.

One more thing: Saturday the 18th starts President's Day weekend so parks will be quite crowded. The days you are going (12-17) should be pretty empty.

Just remember that a majority of the attractions are indoors!! Rain has never slowed us down at all. Buy some .88 cent ponchos from Wal-Mart to take with you just in case.

We've been in February several times and had very little rain that time of year. But if it does we just do the poncho thing too, and go right on.

But, if you want to add a day in case of rain I guess that as good an excuse as any!lol While you're at it go ahead and add a day in case of snow too...you never know....

All kidding aside, if it's real nasty and you don't want to get out to the parks, AKL would be the best place I can think of to ride out a storm. They have all kinds of activities for kids and adults so there would be plenty to do. Have fun!

I know lots of people say ponchos, but I bought a tiny Totes umbrella at Wal-Mart and found that to work much better. Folks in ponchos were still soaked and very HOT. The thought of putting one of those ponchos on in the humidity was unbearable.

The umbrella folded up to a tiny size and fit in my fanny pack. Just another suggestion. Of course if it's very crowded an umbrella might not be a good choice. I was very careful, but it was not crowded so I had no trouble.
