What to do for VERY early morning arrival?

Just curious...which loop is best for a larger RV? We have a 40 foot MH and we always request the 800 loop. Which loop would have larger sites? We will be going back to the Fort in October.

I would say that 800 and 900 have the largest sites, but they have plenty of small ones as well. You would do well to exaggerate the size of your rig (did I say that out loud?) and request a large site. If a small site is foisted upon you, complain to the front desk.

I do think there were some larger sites in the 800 loop, but the one we were initially assigned was right at the entrance to the loop and not very deep. The 1400 loop that we stayed in before seemed to be some of the larger ones to me. I am tempted to go through the request process for that loop so I know we are ok on size, but honestly I'd really like to try another loop just for the different experience. I just need to make sure I can fit into the site.

What is online checkin?

On line check in is available to those with resort reservations 10 days from their scheduled arrival. Some folks say it has helped the check in process while others have said it didn't make any difference. With the online check in, your resort ID, info packet and other info is ready for you when you arrive.

You can access the on line check in thru the WDW reservation website 10 days out from your arrival. It wouldn't be available until then. Don't forget to fax in your site request about 3 days before your arrival also. If you want to try other loops, just ask from a large site. I'm sure the site assigner will get you a great site. Then you can try some loop other than the 1400 loop.

Good luck.

We leave Goegia and drive to Lake City Florida. We spend the night in the In-Out Trailer Park there. If we need food, etc. we shop at the Wal Mart right down the street from the campground. Then we drive the rest of the way to WDW, usually arriving around 11 to 1. We have always been able to get in before 1 but have to admit we have never
tried getting in before 11 am.

Stoping over night helps us with rest and having our children, all medically fragile/handicapped ready to hit
Ft. Wilderness the next day.

See you there in December.
