My fiance and I are not really breakfast eaters.. but we like to have something small once in awhile, like juice and a muffin.

I've heard that the YC doesn't have any counter service restuarants.. what do guests do if they want to have something small for breakfast before heading to the parks??

Also, isn't there is a sit-down restuarant at the YC that serves breakfast?? If we were to go there, how long would it take for a meal? Do you have to make PS?

Yacht Club Galley serves breakfast..both a nice buffet (no characters) as well as a la carte. 30-40 minutes should be enough time. I believe a the small bar off the lobby nows offers muffins, bagels, juices, coffee etc. in the am. Can't think of the name right now! I do know its counterpart at BC offers this.

If you ask on the restaurant board, some one may know for sure.

Beaches and Cream serves breakfast items such as muffins, cereal, pastries, fruit etc. I think they even did bacon and eggs. It's located between the Yacht and Beach Club right next to Stormalong Bay. I remember that they opened early too. I think it was 7am.

You mmight want to take the walk over to boardwalk to the bakery there...yum!

I thought Beaches and Cream stopped serving breakfast. Did they start again?

My first stay at BCR was in 97 and I have stayed a few times after that. The last being early December of 2001. Beaches and Cream served breakfast during those visits. I hope they haven't stopped. It was very convenient.

liltoot, we were last at BCV in November and B&C was not offering breakfast then. I think they stopped a year or two ago when the continental breakfast offerings were added in the lobby...fruit, muffins, bagels, I think cold cereal, etc.. This is actually more convenient from the rooms.

You might also enjoy using room service. AllEars.net has the menus for Yacht Club room service on their site. Check it out and see if they have food to your liking.

Breakfast on your balcony could be nice.

We often go to Tubbie's Buffeteria at the Dolphin. The Dolphin is next to the YC and not too far of a walk. Tubbie's is basically the same as the food court type restaurants at the other resorts. It is sort of a cafeteria line if you want anything like eggs, toast, bacon, oatmeal, and they also have a large assortment of things like muffins, juice, yogurt, granola bars, etc. It is fast food and the selection is good so you should find something for everybody.

Spoodles on the Boardwalk served a great a la carte breakfast last May. I believe we had a 7:30 PS and were done in about 30-40 mins. I second the Boardwalk Bakery suggestion. We often pickup breakfast items the night before and then just grab a coffee in the lobby.

BCV23 Thanks for the update on Beaches and Cream. The closer I can get to coffee in the morning the better! We haven't been there in a couple years and I noticed it was still listed as serving breakfast in the Birnbaum book. That's what makes these boards so great.

When we stayed at the YC in '02 we ate breakfast in the lobby every morning. :) They had a nice selection of muffins, bagels, cereal, etc. :)

Freiden8:

Try the Yacht Club Galley, the YC's sit-down restaurant open for breakfast and lunch till 2:30 pm. It's not as crazy as the breakfast character buffet at the BC's Cape May Cafe and (arguably) better food. It's often overlooked. I wish it was still open for dinner, as both resorts lack a midpriced non-buffet dinner option.

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast at the YC Galley each morning. It was very not crowded and was peaceful.

what is a good price for a room at the yacht and boat club resort? what does it cost to get into the parks

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding Amber! I'm from North Central Ohio near Sandusky! My DH and I are planning on staying at the YC for our 25th anniversary in October of '06!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

A rack rate, standard room at the Yacht and Beach Clubs are $289 per night. But there are many ways to get discounts.

Depending on how long you are travelling will determine the price of Park Hopper tickets.

Or you can get a package and the price of tickets and hotel are included.
