We are heading back to the world this year with our 5 kids. (2 bios, 3 soon to be adopted). We brought them last year but this year a few of them are a bit older and will be wanting to go on more rides. It will be my husband and I.

The kids will be 2,3,4,5, and 7. I know.. LOL, anyways. How can we utilize rider swap and fast passes to help us? I know how the new fast passes work but what are the rules for riding alone? Can my 7 year old sit alone? Can one adult bring two kids? Can you rider swap with different kids so everyone gets to ride? Does this make since? LOL

I want to get things situated before we make our fastpass selections for our trip in September. TIA :)

*** to clarify I'm talking about bigger rides that we won't all be going on as a family, like mine train... exc.

If they meet height requirements - "To board an attraction, children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14." Your 7 year old will be permitted to sit alone.

What a beautiful large family you must have! Only the seven year old can ride alone, if he or she is comfortable doing so. There are a few rides, like the mine train that can only fit two, but except for the mine train, most are 40+ inch rides so its going to depend on their heights. You could use rider swap if only the oldest two are big enough to ride these rides with one riding with each parent. You could also stagger FP so that one adult and child rides, and then the other. There really are not too many of these rides. Most of the things like HM, you can squeeze one adult and two or three really little kids in. Most of the time you can have the little ones right in front of you on things like buzz light-year or pooh. I think you can make it work on most rides. It also good to ask CMs what is the best way to ride. They can offer suggestions and I have seen them even ride with a child a few times.
