What to do between BBB and CRT?

We have two girls with BBB appointments at 8:05 am in early May on a day the park opens at 9:00 (for now).

We have CRT reservation at 10:00 am. Where will be held until park opening and what rides could we realistically do between BBB and CRT? Not interested in headliners that morning as we have EMM on a different day. Also it's our first MK day so we want to do something the kids (1-5) are likely to enjoy so nothing wild.

I think that amount of time would be good for a ride on the carousel and maybe some princess meet and greets (if there is one meeting that you won’t see at breakfast)
Also pictures of your little princesses dolled up with the castle in the background.

If you will have MM walk across to the store that takes pics of the “princesses” then go ride the carousel. That would give you just enough time to get back and check in.

Teacups and Dumbo would be close by. I wouldn’t do more meet & greets yet - make that special for CRT.

I would obviously stay in the area. If you don't want to do the EMM rides, and I assume not the princess meet and greets, there are lots of fun things in that area. You won't necessarily be taking advantage of RD, but that sounds like it's okay.

Some suggestions in that area:
Dumbo, Little Mermaid, Barnstormer, Merida meet, Enchanted Tales with Belle, teacups, carousel, or it's a small world.

Merida and Belle will take the longest, and I'd say you'd only have time for one or the other, so if you pick one of those, I'd do it first and then pick something else nearby. This is assuming you want to check in at 9:45 for CRT.

Thanks for all the great ideas! My family thinks I'm smart lol but it's because of DIS! We are planning a FP for Belle after breakfast and I think the little guy in our group will be ready for a ride so we may do Dumbo, Teacups and IaSW depending on time.

Carousel seems like a natural with the princess girls but our little guy only likes stationary animals (and not the bench). When just husband and I were at MK last month I looked but it seemed like all the horses move up and down. Anyone know for sure?

I just watched a video on YouTube and it looks like all the horses do move. So perhaps, take it off the list or have our DH take your son to a different ride (speedway?) while you do the carousel with the girls?
