Howdy! I see they're not charging to get into PI. What is there to do there if you don't pay admission to get into clubs? Is it worth going to if you don't have a ticket? How is it any different - you still have to pay to get into the clubs. I don't get it. Is there outside entertainment? Any advice?

There usually is a band at the West End Stage, which is outdoors. You can look through the shops. There are some games. I would plan it with a trip to Downtown Disney & West Side.

Hello! We just got back from WDW yesterday. We did PI a couple of nights with this new experiment they are trying. IMO, it is a big pain having to pull out your pass everytime you want to enter a club. My PI pass was linked to my UHP, and getting it out everytime to enter a club, I ended up dropping it on the floor, and had to go look for it, which I was really lucky to find. It was so much easier to just swipe your card once to get in and not have to worry about it after that. Plus the lines to get into any club are super long since they have to swipe each card manually.

The only thing anyone can do without a pass is eat, shop, drink, and listen to the live band at the stage, which only plays at certain times. I wonder if Disney is trying to get people to drink, and figures that after a few drinks, the people walking around will be ready to party and end up buying a pass??
